About the General Medicine Program
The program belongs to the field of Clinical Medicine, is offered in a full-time format, and lasts 6 years. Graduates receive the qualification of “General Practitioner.”
During the first three years, students study humanities, natural sciences, and biomedical disciplines, building a solid scientific foundation and developing essential skills such as clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork.
From the fourth year onward, education focuses entirely on professional medical disciplines. Students study obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, internal and infectious diseases, surgery, anesthesiology, emergency and military medicine.
Future physicians learn how to diagnose diseases, select effective treatment plans, manage patients in emergency conditions, conduct preventive and rehabilitation measures, and perform various types of medical examinations, including forensic assessments.
